DESCRIPTION:The exhibition brings together 59 prints by TUDOR BANUȘ and 20 
 prints by HONORẺ DAUMIER in an attempt to highlight the manner in which ar
 tists from different periods of time are inspired by the political and soc
 ial context of the day.\nWorks by Tudor Banuș and Honor&eacute\; Daumier b
 lend in various perspectives and prompt onlookers to reflect upon and unde
 rstand the architecture of humanity the two artists constructed at differe
 nt points in time. Their &ldquo\;encounter&rdquo\; highlights the differen
 t manners in which they portray the tensions and anguishes typical of the 
 respective worlds.&nbsp\;\nTudor Banuș (b. 8 July 1947\, Bucharest) gradua
 ted the &ldquo\;Ion Mincu&rdquo\; Institute of Architecture and Urban Plan
 ning in 1971 and one year later left the country to settle in France\, whe
 re he studied oil painting and engraving at the Ecole Nationale Sup&eacute
 \;rieure de Beaux-Arts in Paris. As of 1976 he began to collaborate with m
 ajor newspapers and magazines such as Le Monde\, L'Express\, Le Point\, Le
  Figaro\, Die Zeit\, The New York Times\, The New York Magazine.\nWorld-fa
 mous French illustrator\, painter and sculptor Honor&eacute\; Daumier (180
 8-1879) was one of the most appreciated political cartoonists of his day\,
  and a regular contributor to many magazines and newspapers such as La Sil
 ouhette\, La caricature\, Le Charivari etc.\nCurators: Carmen Cernat\, gra
